Unfortunately, upon arriving to the Kingswood Centre (nr. Bembridge, Isle of Wight) we found that there wasn't as good mobile coverage as anticipated, and were therefore consistently unable to use Mobile Broadband to post to our website. There will be an article about the weekend appearing on the website in the very near future!

Welcome to the UK Youth Parliament in Hampshire Blog, which will be coming to you straight from the UK Youth Parliament South East Regional Residential 2009 - Hampshire members are looking forward to keeping you up to date with what they're going to be getting up to over the forthcoming weekend. The South East region uses their residential as a starting-point for the new year of recently elected Members, inviting previous Members (such as myself) to come along and help train the new members with invaluable information which they will have picked up throughout their term in office.
In previous years other things have gone under much discussion and debate - such as the new year's regional campaigns. Last year was the "Mind Matters" and "Youth Provisions" campaigns - both with much work going in from Hampshire Members to start the ball rolling. Mind Matters has now been picked up on nationally by other regions of the UK Youth Parliament and is continuing to advance and pick up attention from key decision makers.
